STS Flooring Distributors Ltd are pleased to announce the purchase of Bodigian & Co. Ltd of Thame, Oxfordshire. Established in 1947, originally as a rug importer based in Central London, Bodigian moved into carpet retail and wholesale during the late 1960’s and later expanded into the contract market. “We are delighted to have found a business model that is very much aligned to our ethos. This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity for us to develop both businesses and expand our distribution network within the contract market”. During the next twelve months Both Simon and June Taplin will continue to manage the day-to-day business to assist in the smooth integration of both companies. STS Flooring Distributors Ltd (est. 1965) is an independent contract distributor located in Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. With the acquisition of Bodigian, their distribution now includes Thames Valley and the surrounding areas. With stock holdings currently exceeding over £3 million, the company boasts an experienced sales force that specialise in the contract market.
